Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Kyntra Labs ("Kyntra," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.kyntralabs.io (the "Site") and in our software-as-a-service platform (the "Services"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process Personal Information more generally.

By continuing to use the Site or Services, or by indicating your consent through our cookie preferences tool where required by applicable law, you agree to the use of cookies and similar technologies as described in this Cookie Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of the site.

This Cookie Policy also covers similar technologies, including:

  • Pixels and tags (small graphics or code that record information about your interaction with a page);
  • Local storage and session storage (browser-based storage mechanisms similar to cookies); and
  • Software development kits (SDKs) used in connection with our Services.

For convenience, we refer to all of these as "cookies" throughout this Cookie Policy unless context requires otherwise.

Categories of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site and Services to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems and do not require your consent. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, filling out forms, or setting privacy preferences. If you block these cookies, parts of the Site will not work.

3.3 Analytics Cookies

These technologies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site so we can improve performance and user experience. We currently use Vercel Web Analytics, which is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies to identify individual visitors, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information by default.

Where required by applicable law, we will not use analytics technologies until you have provided consent through our cookie preferences tool.

3.4 Marketing Cookies

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not allow third-party advertising networks to set cookies on the Site, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required, obtain your consent before deploying any such technologies.

4

First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

  • First-party cookies are set by Kyntra directly through the Site.
  • Third-party cookies are set by service providers we use, such as Auth0, Stripe, and Vercel. These third parties may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. Links to those policies are provided in our Subprocessor List.

Your Choices

You have several ways to control cookies on the Site.

5.1 Cookie Preferences Tool

Where required by applicable law, we display a cookie preferences tool when you first visit the Site. You may change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookies" link in the Site footer. (Note: this tool will be deployed in connection with Kyntra's launch of the Site; if it is not yet visible, the cookies we use are limited to those listed in Section 3.1 above, which do not require consent under applicable U.S. law.)

5.2 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • block all cookies;
  • block third-party cookies;
  • delete cookies when you close your browser; or
  • be notified when a cookie is set.

For instructions, see your browser's help documentation:

Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent core Site functions (including login) from working.

5.3 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request to the extent required by applicable U.S. state law. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information and the use of Personal Information for targeted advertising for that browser or device.

5.4 Do Not Track

Because there is no industry consensus on how to interpret Do Not Track ("DNT") signals, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

6

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" and "Last Updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice.
